A lot of liberal idiots in Portland. They will riot for the sake of rioting. The Democratic leadership in this state condones it. Like most states, this state is governed by the large cities. It is a shame I was born and raised here and I can't wait to retire and leave here, but the liberal douchebags are infecting the entire nation thanks to indoctrination in the public schools. We should have seen it coming. At least I have my kids in a private school which is very conservative. The booted "Key Club" because they support BLM. I though that was great!

I guess the rioting is over now. I saw videos on the evening news of everybody dancing in the streets after joe and kamala's declaration of winning the election.

What I’ve found incredibly amusing is seeing social media posts saying “Portland is great! Don’t let the videos make you think otherwise...they aren’t representative of how it really is!” So...even saying those videos aren’t “representative”, the fact that shit happens at all is enough to convince any sane person to stay away.

Yes, we're mostly talking about a 'far-left' that is hard to paint as liberal because they aren't liberal in any rational sense. A lot of people ride on the wagon of liberalism only because they can use it to drag socialism along. The far-left crazies I've seen don't do that... they outright reject the basic form of government we have. I grew up here and, maybe it's not always true, but for what it's worth I've known a few people like this. They tend to hold a lot of anarchist beliefs and think it's better to form local communes, basically locally-autonomous commie political cults. Anything less is fascism. That's why when Biden came into office they still trashed everything in sight and marched with banners reading “WE DON’T WANT BIDEN — WE WANT REVENGE” and “WE ARE UNGOVERNABLE.” They are nuts and want revolution.

I just literally flew in from the EU last week and had a sit down at a taco joint near Bagdad theater on Hawthorne.

I had to LITERALLY... .QUITE LITERALLY basically watch my truck like a hawk and it was right in front of the theatre as we were eating and fucken bums...low lifes and everyone in between was eyeballing it.

One guy had a flashlight and he was basically canvassing and looking into vehicles.

there was an opening right outside the taco joint and I moved my truck into so fast.
Felt comfortable afterwards enjoying overpriced tacos at 6 bucks a pop.....

We had a bum move a tent onto a grass area near I205 (freeway through SE Portland)... Tent mysteriously disappeared in broad daylight within one day.
