FINALLY! Up here, just east of Show Low, we are getting the much needed rain! For the past few days, its been cloudy, which means at the very least humidity was climbing , but no rain other than a little spitting occasionally. Even the increase in humidity is a huge help up here. But for the last 20 minutes, it has been a light, steady rain. It smells SOOOOOO good, and is a huge relief, even for the short term, in regards to the fire dangers. Local radio is saying that over the next couple days, floods are possible. BRING IT ON!!! After watching the rains skirt us and hit St Johns and Spingerville/Eager, its nice to get our due....

It was beautiful!

I live east of Snowflake and got a little light rain for a short period of time.  Didn't even make mud.  What a disappointment!

Wow, I'm surprised. We had rain all day and it got quite heavy at times. It put about 200 gallons of water into my rain collection tank. Had a friend go to a meeting in St Johns and it hit them hard too.

We went up to Pinetop this weekend just for the rain. It was amazing. Love the rain in the forest.

Saw some prong horns out by the showlow airport.

Those speed goats are almost always there. There is a much larger herd on the other side of the 60 just before the 60/61 split.
