In the spirit of the world having been a better place when we laughed with our neighbors instead of arguing with strangers and watched camp fires instead of computer screens let's play a game.
Some form of heat map would be more efficient and modern but we can do this old school. IF you are interested in linking up with other people locally to form mutual support networks then Reply to this thread with your APPROXIMATE location and how long you can drive to meet, time not miles. I'll compile the Replies into one post broken down by geography. If you're a border dweller then reach out to your friends across the border. Meet your locals, exchange contact info, pick pre arranged meet up points, go for some hikes, have family dinner, etc. You never know when it might be useful. I'll start Battle Ground, WA, 2 hours out edited 24JAN21 Heat map doesn't allow for user names. Going to do it by cities, trying to hold a one hour radius from city to city if geography allows. -WESTERN WA, I5 CORRIDOR- BELLINGHAM STANWOOD MONROE LYNNWOOD KENT OLYMPIA CASTLE ROCK VANCOUVER -I-90- NORTH BEND ELLENSBURG MOSES LAKE RITZVILLE SPOKANE -PENINSULA- PORT ANGELES FORKS -NORTH CENTRAL- BARRON ROCKPORT WINTHROP OMAK REPUBLIC -MID CENTRAL- SKYKOMISH LEAVENWORTH -SOUTH CENTRAL- RANDLE YAKIMA -NORTH EASTERN- CRESTON -MID EASTERN- ST JOHN -SOUTH EASTERN- KENNEWICK WALLA WALLA |

I'm just North of Seattle. I can drive where I'm needed.
Hiked 6 miles today under load with about a dozen ARF.commers. Start meeting people. |

South of Graham.
I'll be able to meet closer more easily, but 90-120 minutes out could be arranged occasionally. I have been thinking that it could be good to get together with people and share skills. We're all decent at something that someone else wants to learn. |

1 hour to 1.5 hours, two is no big deal but it’s still a long ways from nowhere. Exact Star, Washington, closest town Azwell, recognized Pateros.

Vancouver, but currently working in Hood River, OR. I'm up for driving as far as needed depending on the event. I plan to meet up with some folks in the Seattle area this weekend for a ruck.

Now that we're starting to get a number of people in some areas, what are some good things to do at a meetup?
In the past, shooting was always a no brainier but with the current state of things, it probably wouldn't last long. Lol |

I will happily offer up the Caboose for a rally point. Probably hafta be a nice day out, as I only have indoor seating for three. But, shitloads of parking across the street. I was in Uncle Sam's Canoe Club for Boys, so platoon tactics and face-painting are outside my bailiwick. I have some Baofengs on which I could use serious instruction, among other things. I already know a few hundred arftards, so you should feel moderately safe in my lair...
