I spend most of my time with bolt guns running a PRS team...to that end, I'm gonna start doing some classes in the Memphis area on Long Range precision and precision reloading if anyone is interested.

I had to take care of work stuff this morning. Really glad to see some interest! Probably gonna be like herding cats but let’s try to get together. What’s the consensus re a weekend meet? Totally down on the ammo saving mentality. Coffee or whatever is good with me.

I'm around. Single 30yr old guy, lives in Memphis but has a family farm in Middleton TN. 1300 acres of fun and a gun range that reaches out to 1400yds
 but I am kinda being a cheap-o with ammo at the moment. Don't want to start blasting too much until prices come down below .50/shot for pistol/AR

The new neighbors built a big lodge. Can’t shoot there anymore, but they’re good guys. They own a big firearms business and have SOF guys down with Special Ops Excursions all the time. That’s why I haven’t tried to put together a shoot in a while. |

We have had meet ups for a beer after gun shows in past, but the shoot at Gratioflash’s place was nice. Gave more time to talk and such. A car camping thing with food would be a great way to have great food and a meet and great and held somewhere we could shoot, Ben if just a few rounds could be fun.

Regarding schedule:
If we are meeting for a non-shooting event, i would say lunch somewhere. We had one years ago at the Flying Saucer in Cordova. A saturday would be my choice. For an event with some shooting, 9-11 am on a saturday. Just thinking out loud. |
