Anyone or anything interesting in that part of the state? Gun shops, motorcycle or automotive museums? My primary interests are anything gun, mom & pop cafes, British bikes and pre-1974 cars/trucks. I'm 70, so don't say hiking, spelunking or 10k runs. Don't get me wrong, I love exercise. I can watch it with panache, if done by the proper, um...participants. Even willing to GTG with local arftards, if it works for you.

Not real far from my stomping ground. Dave's gun shop and outdoor range in Holland, I've bought a couple of guns there.

Lincoln State Park and Boyhood Home.

Historic hotels in French Lick and West Baden. A casino there as well. {I grew up there}

Patoka Lake.

I eat about once a month at the German restaurant in Jasper.

I'll try to think of some more..............

Indiana honors every other state's carry license.

Dave's has a nice selection of older firearms as he's been hitting up estate sales. There is Whittakers in Owensboro, across the river on US231. Spence County doesn't really have much at all. I grew up 2 miles east of Dale. The biggest car collectors in the area don't really have their places set up as museums. The other options for doing things is in Evansville. St. Meinrad had a seminary. One of two like it in the US. Ferdinand has a convent. I'm not sure if they are doing tours anymore but they won't stop you if you go and drive around them.
