I am visiting Monroe For the first time in years.  Is West Monroe the nice part?  Monroe seems pretty nasty and rundown. .

Yeah West Monroe is less rich and vibrant. Enochs across the,river in Monroe on Desiard St has decent music or it did, it's a good place for beers.
