I’m headed to the KU Med Ctr in KCK next week…any see/avoid Hotel and food recommendations especially appreciated !!!  Planning on going to the WW1 memorial museum.  I usually post in hometown in the state I’m headed to, for SA…since I have to adhere to airline/hospital rules…I am disarmed on my trips once I walk into the terminal at RIC.

Where you are going to be, stay south of I-35.

Q-39 BBQ is right down the road from the hospital, but it gets busy.

Five Guys is right by there

The vietnamese place across the intersection from the hospital looks like a dump, but the food is good.
All of that is within walking range from the hospital.

If you are going to WWI museum, Union station across the street is good to kill some time

Blvd brewery is by the museum, worth a stop

Be sure to go to the Steamboat Arabia museum too!
