Last fall, I helped a family deal with an estate that was in the dozens, and netted them a significantly higher final yield than they received in the form of various bulk offers.

Recently, I was asked to help with another estate, but this one is in the hundreds of firearms. I simply do not have the time to do the same thing I did last time.

The estate is here in Virginia.  Can anyone recommend a larger broker/FFL that could possible assist them?

Thanks

Check with Bernie Breiner. He may be able to help. Good guy.
That kind of collection is definitely a ton of work.

Another possibility is Doug Stockman.

Vienna Arsenal-- would not recommend.

Laughlin Auctions is worth a check, good people and they are online now, seen them get good money for a lot of high end rare stuff.

How does it work now buying a firearm(s) at an auction?  Does there have to be a FFL on site to allow the sale/transaction?

Yes, FFL is required and the auction houses I know of have contracted an FFL to be onsite.

I've bought guns from Alexandria Auctions.   I think on sales they charge 15% from the seller.
