I don’t want to make this another “move to Utah” thread, even though that’s the underlying factor….

Specifically, are there any vaccine mandates for kids and based on your experience/awareness do you expect those to be implemented?

They are coming down the line here in MD and aim hoping to identify options. We are seriously considering the SLC area, specifically south Jordan, down to lehi area. Any concerns we should be aware of as they pertain to masking/mandates/general covid crazies? The sense I get are the more leftist areas could be a concern.

IMHO look for something in Utah County.  Salt Lake County has just too many liberal bastions.  If it has to be in the SLC area check with the following school districts:
Granite
Murray
Canyon
West Jordan
Salt Lake

FYI: Alpine is the largest district in Utah County.

No masks and no vaccines for students where I'm at in Utah County.  Alpine School District, which is the north end of the county.

There are state laws regarding such things.

53A-11-302

"(2) A student qualifies for a medical exemption from a vaccination required under Section
53A-11-303 if the student's legally responsible individual provides to the student's school:
(a) a completed vaccination exemption form; and
(b) a written notice signed by a licensed health care provider stating that, due to the physical
condition of the student, administration of the vaccine would endanger the student's life or
health.
(3) A student qualifies for a personal exemption from a vaccination required under Section
53A-11-303 if the student's legally responsible individual provides to the student's school a completed vaccination exemption form, stating that the student is exempt from the vaccination because of a personal or religious belief."

Utah county still has enough conservatives that it will never pass.


Even when they had mask mandate to stay after being exposed unless vaxxed no one even enforced it.

House prices suck and traffic is getting worse because city council members are for the most part the good ol boys clubs letting friends and family develop land without letting infrastructure catch up.
