I will be passing through VT and would like to carry my pistol.  It's my understanding thatVT has constitutional carry so even though I'm from upstate gulag new york I should be ok.

Is my understanding correct?  If pulled over while driving does the law require that I inform the officer that I am carrying?

Thanks

You are fine and no.  Only thing is no loaded long guns in a car/truck, handguns are ok

Yup my AR pistol can be loaded in the vehicle, but not my SBR...

Still, I'll take it! Was a reason to build another AR!

I'm late to this one, but all the above is true. It is a fine state we live in!
