It is extremely important that you send both of the emails below to your legislators (about 1,650 emails have been sent as of 11am today, which is low for VCDL). The original links were in the alert that came out late last night. These emails need to be sent whether you are coming to Lobby Day, or not, to help us repeal the bad gun laws passed in 2020 and 2021. It is easy and takes about a minute of your time. The system also gives you an option to call your legislators to leave a message, which you should do if you can.

NOTE: If you have already sent both emails, either late last night or today, you can ignore this request.

I sent the e-mails, but it is hard to get excited given the apparent lack of legislative enthusiasm. If there are not even bills introduced to repeal UBCs and the ban on being armed while voting, there is not much hope.

There could be an issue with the Va-alert system. I used to get the alerts and then one day I noticed I was not getting them anymore, they are not in my spam folder. I signed up for them again but, never got another email.

I did send both reps an email via the links in your OP.

You might want to try resubscribing to the alerts and see if that fixes the issue.
