Going to Moab and Bryce/Zion. I like to travel with my carbine. Any problem with a loaded AR(can be pistol config) in the truck or on the trails? Side arm too,mostly IWB. Id like your thoughts. Thanks

You're almost certainly fine. Do you have an NV CCW permit? Utah recognizes pretty much any state's permit. You can open carry unloaded without a permit. You can open carry loaded with a permit.

In the car is fine, even without a permit.

Utah law just says, "firearms". Yes, you can OC a loaded rifle if you have a CCW.
