Either register as an antique AW with the bayo lug, or remove the lug and it is then not an AW.

I'd prefer to modify to make it not an AW though...like buying a type 1 barrel band. Otherwise they will confiscate them or ban them with no grandfather clause like the did with mags. |

And also magazines of over 10 round capacity ( original military ones) to accompany a USGI carbine since they fall under the 50+ rule, can be owned if “ registered “ as an “ antique high capacity feeding device”
