Servers went down again…
They finished up testimony, less than 15 minutes ago. Epps introduced amendment L018 which would limit the scope of the entire bill to just banning bump stocks and ‘rapid fire trigger activators’. Before the feed cut they were discussing the formalities around this amendment introduction. |

Wow, 15 hours later and it’s finally over. AWB IS DEAD!
Epps (a real idiot I’ve learned BTW) tried to add some amendments to limit scope of the bill to just banning bump stocks and scrap the rest of the restrictions. They were voted down, but the entire bill was ultimately killed after all. ?? |

Marc Snyder, one of the Ds who voted against it:
Snyder, who has voted in favor of other gun control measures this session, said when he was campaigning he told voters he wouldn’t take guns away from law-abiding citizens. “The bill, I believe, does that,” he said. Respect. Probably not a coincidence that he represents a district in/near CO springs. I'm guessing a lot of the D voters there are pro 2A. |
