A friend took me to St. Louis today, so I could see/do some stuff that I otherwise couldn't.
No Jack-In-The-Box here, so we stopped at one for breakfast;
Next we went to Pacific, to see the Bigfoot trucks.
Purpose built display truck just off Hwy 44 by city hall;
Bigfoot #5, sitting by B+H Market;
Then we stopped by Rockwoods Reservation, because I wanted to see how much the visitor center had changed since the last time I'd been there. (I wish I could still walk those trails; Linda and I used to go there almost every day).
The cages with animals on display is gone, but they still have Smokey The Bear that moves and plays recordings when you push the button.
Next we went to Lindas grave, and I took some clippers along because the grass grows over her headstone. My friend helped me clean it up.
After that, we went into the city, and ate lunch at Maggie O'Briens. My friend likes eating there, and it's nostalgic for me because Linda and I went there for a get-together with friends from work, back in the late 90s.
Two years in a row we've done this trip, and I had a good time doing it.
