Can someone pm me a list of local repeaters and groups to just listen to? I downloaded chirp and need to get a cable and then learn how to use them.
I got my ham license in 1978 in the Boy Scouts, and didn't renew...so I need to redo test

i have only been in tri cities (erwin) since july, and haven't really looked up all the repeaters yet or sorted my ham stuff out which is still in storage. i'd recommend you download the repeaterbook app. it will show you all the repeaters and is updated as they change. but i couldn't tell you which ones are active. you'll just have to listen.

Cool thanks!
Also I will add to this, friend at work saw me charging them...a couple minutes later found out he is an over 25 year holder and is emailing me info for here and i will post it later |
