Worded to stay CoC compliant.

I moved here for cool weather with nice wet rain... not mid 80's in May.

hopefully a hot and early summer will result in a very cold and early winter too.

84 in University Place right now.

It was 90+ in mid April a few years ago, of course I had to help my FIL move that weekend

But yeah I'm kinda annoyed, first real nice weekend since winter, I was hoping to get out for a ride tomorrow, but it's gonna be too damn hot

whining over an early 80s weekend? Are you sick? It's not even that hot, we wait half the year for one of these, go do something fun

If shitty weather is your jam, move to Ketchikan. I lived there for 20 years and still have PTSD from the rain and wind.

We installed window tint, new UV/heat blocking curtains an retractable awnings on the two sides of house that receive the significant amount of sunlight. Planted fast growing shade trees.  Also put up shade around an over outside AC, so its not getting hit with direct sunlight half the day. It made an impressive difference in cooling our 3400sq ft house.

Not a fan of anything over 65 degrees myself. I feel like Washington's temperature swings used to be spaced out more evenly. It seems like the last 5 years (or possibly more) we just have 2 seasons as far as temperatures are concerned... Freezing and hot. Spring used to be pleasant here and so was fall.

The thing I really hate about going from the winter transition into summer is how everyone has been chomping at the bit waiting through a long miserable stretch of winter for nicer weather to get onto their projects. The first warm day comes and everyone is off to the races. It's just a mad rush all summer long and everyone wants to get everything done all at once since we basically only have 5 months out of the year to work with in this state.

Having a hard time keeping up with the mowing at the start of the mowing season too as it's actually been pretty wet... Combine that with hot and humid and it's a bit nuts for a while.

Love this weather!

My sons football game yesterday down in Lake Tapps, not loving it. I think it was 10 degrees warmer on the field.

Out at my house it reached up to 74 on the water. It was fantastic.

As long as it cools off at night, and there isn't smoke from wildfires in the air, so that I can open my window then I'm good with this weather

That’s half the fun. Drive around, stop at Deception Pass, stop at Fort Casey, take the ferry back from Clinton. Only a 1/2 hour wait at 6pm on Saturday night.

That’s a great way to beat the heat. There’s a nice little ice cream shop a short walk from the Kingston dock, too.

Typical Western WA spring. One or two weeks in April or May over 80. Then comes June. Mid 60's and rain until July 5th.

I remember back during the massive heat wave in 2009 when it was 112 at my house, and I had to fly down for work in Los Angeles where it was in the 60s and raining.  Oddly enough, here I am again in LA and it's the same thing all over again

I took the hardtop and doors off my jeep today after this mornings forecast showed sun all week. Just looked outside and it's raining... hopefully it's warm and sunny enough tomorrow to dry the seats out.

I still sweat buckets.

It must have hit 80 there for a while again... At least high 70s.
