Went for a walk this evening, took the .300 Blackout build with Nosler 220gr CC loads. Was able to stalk up on three separate hogs and went three for three.

While taking a pic with the third hog, an albino deer came out of the woods and cut across the field. About four years ago I had seen a button buck albino in the same area, never knew what happened to him I suppose this one is related.

That's super cool man...

There was a pretty decent line of piebald deer back where I'm from in Western New York. The one lived in a massive cemetery and another lived a few miles away in a large nature preserve.

What was really intense was watching the other white tail beat the hell out of that those guys. Another hunter told me it was because the deer were "institutionally racist" and that they instinctively don't like them because they will get all the other deer killed as they are too easy to see.

I found that both plausible and hilarious!

Didn't know FL had albino's, seen quite a few up in western PA and they blend well when snow is on the ground...go figure.

Very cool!

I’ve hunted and stomped dirt all over Florida since I could walk and tote a rifle in the seventies, never laid eyes on an albino or piebald .

I saw a albino hog once many years ago in The Citrus WMA. Couldn't hardly believe my eyes. Very cool sighting.
