I’m headed to Anchorage for work and am going to stay for a couple of weeks. What sort of entertainment is to be found in and around the area? Any gun stores to visit? Anyone have a lead on bottom fishing guides? Anything else?

You will have a fair drive to go bottom fishing

What kind of things would you want to do?

There are a handful of gun shops in Anchorage, some are better than others with certain things

If you want a good workout, the Alaska Rock Gym sells day passes. If you want to do some hiking I'd recommend heading down to Girdwood, you can stop by my favorite brewery after.
