Just in case anyone is interested and hasn't heard yet. September 11th and 12th will be an airshow at Pease ANGB in Portsmouth. There will be a few other neat displays and fliers. Check it out! I'll probably be there, maybe even both days.

The parking passes are tempting. Have just parked wherever in the past but now with a 3 and 6 year old, closer maybe better.

I will have access through the flight line, but I won't be able to bring friends or family through so we will be parking with everyone else.

We're gonna watch from my FILs boat in the bay Saturday. I kinda wanna go and see the displays too though. Can I walk in without buying a parking pass or am I stuck paying 25 bucks now for the cheapest one?

I'm pretty sure you can just walk in. The event is free, it's just the free parking that's no longer available.

There’s a lot of hype for the show this year, wouldn’t be at all surprised if it’s the highest attendance yet.

Yeah did they quietly delete the F22?

Also you're not allowed to just walk in, a parking pass is required. No Uber, no drop offs, no walk ins.

Family day is today/Friday. Thunderbird are practicing now. Haven't been down the flight line yet to see what the have for displays. They have 2 KC46s open but the lines are long already.

A few photos I got. I have some videos as well but don’t know how to post them.

It was a great show but I’m sure it was much better from the venue. We were across the river, the last picture is where we were in relation to the airport indicated by the red dot in Durham.

#5 broke with a flight control issue yesterday, thats why it took so long for one to get in the air. The good men on the Thunderbird team are getting the spare ready now, so it should be a more typical 6 bird show today.
