Plan on taking kids and grandkids to visit The Henry Ford this summer for a couple of days.  Driving up from Central Illinois.  Any suggestions where to stay motel wise?  Places to stay or not to stay?

We have stayed there and it's a great historic hotel relating to all things Ford.
It was closed for renovation recently, but looks to be open again for reservations;
