I meant to update earlier, but the last two weeks has been busy.
All advice was appreciated, and it made things easier on me. As I said last November, regular Army stuff I know, Guard is different.
My youngest is now officially an 11B, he graduated last Thursday. Talk about an incredible feeling.
He reported in to the Guard center at Ft. Gordon the next day, and naturally they had no idea he was coming. It isn't surprising, with general delays, Covid delays and him being recycled when he actually got Covid (15 weeks into training), he was originally scheduled to Graduate in early July. Currently he is waiting to find out about his assignment, something about the unit he signed up for not having slots, and trying to figure out who to talk to about pay issues, his last paycheck was mid-month August, $3.30. Fortunately, he has plenty in the bank, not much to spend it on at Sand Hill.
So far he hasn't gotten any tattoos or a Mustang with 300k, so he is smarter than most.
ETA: For those who care, the ANG recruiting office in Evans, Ga is top notch, none of the slimy crap RA recruiters are known for. Also, he may have been the easiest recruit ever, required no waivers, knew what MOS he wanted, was ready to sign immediately, and passed his first PT test at OSUT with flying colors.
