I know nothing about Federal district courts  or appellate courts.   Does anyone know how long it will take for the courts to decide this case?

I've followed the California cases like Duncan pretty closely and it's usually two to four years.

Even with the SCOTUS decision, don't hold your breath. It's likely the 9th Circuit will drag it out. I wouldn't expect anything this year.

I watch some of the Armed Scholar videos on YouTube. It seems possible the 9th could just allow the Benitez decision to stand, thus only affecting California, I believe. Sullivan v Ferguson then could take a while to play out. I really have no idea though.

That's my concern. I watch his vids too. His vids are good, I wish he'd provide a timeline of when we could expect to see movement or a resolution

The honorable judge Benitez put a stay on his judgement. One of the options is aparently he can lift it and the 9th wont fight it. Something like that. Its explained better here....
