Generally one may not be able to block political campaign calls. The politicians, predictably, exempted themselves from being blocked. If its a robo call, if you catch the call live listen to it to see if they have a option to remove your phone number from their calling list. Sometimes that option works, sometimes not.

You have to be kidding me……

Well I guess it’s time to go and speak to them in person…..

Stop answering, seriously.
A lot of these automated systems monitor if the call is answered by a human.
If so, it gets put on a list to keep calling as it's a "good" number.
No answer is still called, usually till a certain amount of fail attempts and then forgotten.
They're also trained to auto drop fax machines.
Maybe, pick-up and sound like a fax machine?

Just block the number. Nearly every phone service in the US has an option to do it.

I used to get a lot of calls per day on my home phone. They were all telemarketers or beggars trying to get your money. I put a fax machine handshake sound at the beginning of my voicemail message. It slowly stopped these calls.

I had her blocked but it still went to my voicemail.  Figured out a way on Verizon to also block voicemail for 90 days.  If I pay an extra 5 bucks a month I can block and also block voicemail permanently.  May have to do that if she doesn't stop this nonsense.
