Anyone got any good recommendations on places to buy lowers in south Florida? I got spoiled from living in texas and having primary arms close by, but don't want to get raped on the transfer fees.

This reminds me I have to get another lower myself. One thing I will add is to check the lower, if poss., before you buy it. I am not bashing any particular brand and can only speak from prior experience with ones I have bought and still have. I have bought some Anderson lowers that the pin holes would not line up with the upper. Although a little harder to check, is the area where the bolt catch should go. I had a couple lowers that I had to file so the parts could fit. If I filed the bolt catch itself, it would have been canted. Of course, most of this unfortunately you won't notice until you get it home.

Palm Beach Shooting Organization has a bunch in Boynton Beach. I think its is one of the best shops in South Florida.
