I live in Bessemer/McCalla and my house just shook. Couldn’t tell if it was an F16 or raptor maybe out of Montgomery?  Was it the flyover for the football game?

I was wondering what that was. It was crazy loud in alabaster

Buddy had all 4 fly over his house going to and coming back from the stadium.

I tried to find a video of the fly over so I could see what they were.
Montgomery still flying F16’s?

That is a low level area and F16s and F35s from Eglin fly over that area.

From the right angle F-35s look like UFOs.

And they are LOUD.

It peeves me that they put up a fence so that you can't see them but I can understand why.

I was with VFA-137 in the late 80s. FA/18's

I came home on leave and was at the Upside-down Plaza drinking. Went up to the bar to order and when I turned around I was face to face with one of my pilots. Literally my division officer.

I had to do a reality check. Was I in Birmingham? Is this really the Plaza?

He laughed and told me to settle down. He said he flew up to go to a wedding in Tuscaloosa.

I asked if he flew one of our birds up here and he said, yeah, its over at the National Guard hanger.

One of the most surreal experiences Ive ever had!
