Hoping like hell it comes to IF and not Boise. When we drive for IF to shop it's always a splurge at Burger King and Chik Fil A. If this happens that can change my shopping habits.

So any locals hear anything about what's coming in, where and when?

I remember hearing the same rumor in 2008ish. Do you have a source?

This link prompted me to ask an acquaintance who lives in IF. he said he heard its a done deal they just need to choose the contractors and location.

Do you guys have The Habit over there?  Much better than In-N-Out.  That's coming from a guy who worked at In-N-Out #10 as a teenager.

The thing with In-N-Out Burger, is that they supply their own meat, fresh, not frozen.  Therefore, any area where a restaurant might be set-up has to be close enough to one of their patty facilities to be even be considered.

In and Out is meh, all the rest too. I was dissapointed when I found out Zips wasnt here. Before moving here I thought it was. I fuggin love Zips, tah belly buster burger For now Im satisfied with Five Girls burgers, pretty tasty they are.

If In and Out does come to ID I hope it comes here to Boise. IF is weak, JK

In N Out is awesome because it's good, affordable and nostalgic. It's not the best burger in the world and people that didn't grow up eating it don't have the same affinity for it. One of the best burgers I've ever had was Main St Burger in Meridian. Man I need to go back there.

I'm stuck on the burger at the Dutch Goose in Boise.

Probably because I used to live about 3 doors down from the original DG in, pardon the expression, northern California.

I'm stoked for In-N-Out to come to Idaho, hopefully somewhere in the greater Boise area.

I recently traveled to Houston for business and tried Whataburger, and MAN what a disappointment.  You couldn't pay me to eat there again.

If you're in the Boise area the cure for In-n-Out is Burger Belly. They pretty much copied the place and made it better.

You're going to love it. Just get the regular cheeseburger or double to see what I mean. Don't add bacon or anything to it. Also, their fries are great and shakes too.

I like fast food or restaurant burgers that the meat is good quality and not riddled with little hard fat or whatever pieces. That's why I don't eat Mickey Dees, Carls Jr or any of that. In and out has junky little meat patties like that. Five Girls burgers are good quality. I like burgers at Red Robin and Buffalo WW too.

Still Zips is good. All you fuggers should have ate there more so they didn't close her down.

Boise Fry Company is my favorite in Boise and Nampa.  Especially their buffalo burgers.  Now if I'm back home in Emmett. RoeAnns is the best in the state.

IMO Boise Fry is expensive and a little overrated just because they are a little too.. fancy I guess for me. Don't get me wrong I like their stuff and it's an experience having 20 or so different sauces to choose. They do have coupons in the weekly mailers thou.

My personal favorite in ID was Main Street burger, I need to get back over there it's just not convenient for my location.

They expensive for sure.  The food was decent, the roasted brussel sprouts were really good.  Fries were decent enough.

Thanks guys. Im not too cheap but by the time me, the wife and boys all get burgers it's over $30 at Five girls. It sounds like the same deal at BFC. I'll still try it sometime, when I'm alone

My in-laws live in Caldwell, so I'm always looking for a new burger place to eat while there.  Is the "Burger Connection" on 10th and Dearborn any good?  Not in comparison to the styles or "In and out" or "5 guys" or anybody else, just overall, are they worth the money?
