I’ll add to the trend of planning to bbq, also picked up some salmon and steak from Costco.  And grabbed some bourbon and wine to finish it off.

I’m so glad we’re buying a house so I can finally get a generator and be able to keep warm when the power goes out!

I’m ready, I’ve got a full 500 gallon propane tank that feeds the whole house generator, water heater, and range. And a couple of cords of firewood along with a ton of pellets for heat. And plenty of fuel for the snow blower.

I would love to see the greater Seattle area get 2’ of snow.

But in before the nothingburger.

Just before 2300, my deck table shows 3.75 inches of fluffy white stuff.

Nothing but a dusting here in Clark County last night. About 6 inches out there now.

The weather doesn't scare me, its the people driving in it.  I have no issues commuting back and forth in this, but I swear people here are worse than Texas drivers in the snow, and thats saying a lot.

South of Graham had about 6" on the ground before the wind started last night.

Power is out now.

S Kitsap checking in. A general sense of panic has settled in, store shelves are empty of TP, Hot Pockets, and Pepsi.

It begins.

Roads are shit from Tacoma to Eatonville. State, county and city roads all pretty much suck. Eatonville area has no power since 4am or so. Wind gusts are near 40 mph. Sucks to have to sleep during the day with nothing to drown out the family and wind noise.

This is the first time the powers been out long enough for me to worry about dragging the little generator out to run the fridge for a bit. Lol

I'm glad to have it though.

Seems like once the fridge gets opened once, it's warm.  Before having a generator, we'd just take all the food out of the fridge and put it outside.

The plan for today is to run the generator for the fridge every couple of hours and keep the stuff we'd use regularly on the back deck.

Nope. And streaming to it would burn phone power.

It’s getting slick out now that the temp is back below freezing. Tomorrow morning might be a bitch.

Knocking on a foot here in Clark County. Made a trip to the store for a couple things earlier. Uneventful except for some spots are just super fucking bumpy, feels like I'm gonna rattle my truck apart.
