Adam Fortney is being forced to defend himself against a recall effort organized by some Karens who think we should shut down the economy indefinitely. He stood up for our rights in opposition of our tyrant governor and now the prosecutor won't defend him. He will have to foot the legal bill himself if the recall effort moves forward.

Goddamn, we need to get Bob from Stag Barber to set up a chair in front of Karens house and have everyone go get haircuts right in front of her fucking house.

According to the article the recall organizer is ~~Karen~~ Lori Shavlick. A google search yielded some interesting results in that it seems like she is a busy body who likes to file frivolous lawsuits. Seems like she gets dismissed a lot.

I might donate to Forney’s go fund me on principal alone.

He was the person and raised his hand and said ‘I will uphold the laws of our community and protect our citizens.’ And then he turns around, gets into office and says, ‘I don’t like this law, I’m not going to choose to follow this.’ And we depend on him for our safety,” Shavlick said in an interview with KIRO Radio.

“When people are given the message that you don’t have to follow the laws you don’t like, that creates a big fear among people that feel that they’ve been betrayed. What’s going to happen if somebody decides to not follow the law and harms other people?” she added

Aaaaaand the petition is proceeding - next step is getting it on the ballot.

Love how they refer to ~~Karen~~ Shavlik is referred to as "a soft-spoken, Bothell wife and mother." I am ashamed she is in my AO.

Hope all y'all are right about most of her stuff getting dismissed. If this gets on the ballet, SNOCO folks need to step up and vote NO.
