Good guy (SRO) used a gun to stop a bad guy before the bad guy could hurt others. It will never be more than a five second blurb in any newspaper.

Now, if the bad guy had hurt/killed others then the media would be screaming from the rooftops that we need more gun laws.

How about nationwide front page coverage showing the good guy holding the gun he used to stop the bad guy with the caption "Guns do save lives" ?

So far I have only heard he used a semi-automatic rifle that belonged to his mother. What I want to know is the make, model, and caliber.

Not sure of accuracy but read elsewhere it was a 9mm
