I doubt if a permit holder was involved.

A man was shot in the knee after a fight broke out inside of the Spring Street store around 4:45 a.m., Elizabeth police spokeswoman Ruby Contreras said.

He was uncooperative but stable at University Hospital, Contreras said.

There were no other victims.

The suspect fled and store was closed for investigation.

It was a semiautomatic machine gun like an AR15.
It had an illegal silencer like the kind that the NRA makes.
If we had all the bullets numbered we would know who the shooter was.
