Well over a year now and anybody surprised that there has been no progress finding the criminal that severed the head and left it on a porch in Jackson?

Meh, they could have found it, could have figured out who did it and arrested him. But the C-L does not do investigative journalism, they only reprint press releases. So if JPD didn't put out a release, it went unreported.

I really triggered Marshal Ramsey the other day when I pointed out to him that they only pass along releases, word for word in some cases.

Considering that the Clarion Ledger is run by the former head of the MS democrat party it wouldn't do to report that Jackson is a gangster's paradise where criminals have support in the courts and in city administration.
