Are you in New Hampshire or in California? A FFL Transfer from out-of-state into California is subject to the roster. The main way people get off-rosters in California is when one Californian with an off-roster sells to another Californai when they both meet at a California dealer to do a Private Party Transfer. The dealer does the background check and holds the handgun for the required 10-day waiting period. The website Calguns.net is probably the best way to get an idea of why the market price is for a Glock 19x.

The best place I've found to both figure out price.....and sell...... my off-roster guns is on Calguns. Seriously. But if you are a new member to calguns, selling a popular off-roster pistol, be prepared for lot's of scrutiny. Just assure them your legit, and be ready to perform a private party transfer sale. |

Isn't "residency" an issue in this matter?
Is OP a California resident? If he resides here but isn't a "resident", can he sell the firearm here? |
