So my Company is moving to a building by Bass Pro in Bridgeport.
My Wife suggested we take a ride to look at the building and drive length.
So Sunday we got there around 9:30, checked out the building.
Then seeing as Bass pro is 30 seconds away I suggested we stopped there and look around.
Went straight to the gun department when they opened the store.
Salesman behind the counter said " Line forms here for ammo"
I'm like "Ammo" you have "Ammo".
They had 9mm Winchester White box, Federal Champion, and Herters.
Alittle 40 and 380. some 5.56, some .22 and shotgun shells.
No 45 ammo.

Salesman said your allowed 5 boxes and if you have the store credit card 3 more.

So they have a 500 round pak of Winchester white box 9mm.
I ask the guy if I can get that, he says yes. ( I guess the 500 round pak contains 5 100 round boxes)
I ask him the price and he says "$150"
That would sell for $500 online most places.
So I bought that and my usual two bags of beef jerky and went home pretty happy.

Nice to see somebody selling ammo not at scalpers prices.

Haven't bought 9mm in a while but that' still $.30 a round, total ripoff to me.

Wait until the ammo tax, federal license and background check fees get implemented. You will dream of 30 cent ammo.

I picked the wrong time to get into 357 Mag and 45 Colt revolvers

Started buying reloading equipment and supplies just as COVID became a thing, only missing some brass for the 45 colt and bullets for both. Prices are just ridiculous and I’m still learning the abc’s of hand loading. Looking at a Cimarron El Malo 2 3.5” 45 Colt and bought a S&W 19 Carry Comp that I have yet to shoot.

$150 today is awesome!  I would have bought the 5 boxes!

I just got 500 powder coated swc .429 from Acme Bullet. Not a horrible price either.
