Wow! I did not know it was required. I've had mine about 10 years. Never stopped. No bill of sale or title, etc. But I am a grandfather

There is a weight limit for mandatory tags on even personal use trailers.
SC doesn’t require tags on light trailers for non commercial use within the state. If you go to GA or NC or beyond, you can be ticketed I have an enclosed trailer that required the tag, $400 or so dollars later and I am legal |
