Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SBRs waiting for stamps; what about the mags?

With the new mag ban, it has me thinking about my MP5 and MPX SBRs in jail.  When the stamps come in, will I still be able to get the mags?  Since I technically already own them, am I good to pick them up?

Is the Form 3 approved? Why can’t you just go get the mags once they arrive at your local dealer? Anyway, I thought ATF sped up the Form 4 wait times. I’m thinking you’ll have your SBRs before July.

Couldn’t hurt to ask your SOT about grabbing the mags now. I allow folks to take non-controlled accessories (muzzle devices, etc) if they want, all I do is leave a dated note in the box that says “took XYZ on ABC date”.

It’s a good idea, I’ll start telling customers to take their mags for pistols/SARs if we start bumping up against the deadline….
