I guess New York is just going to ignore the fact extreme risk protection orders were found to be unconstitutional and unenforceable?

You go for a ride, your guns get taken, and it'll cost you a fortune in lawyer fees and 6 months to 2 years to get them back, if at all...

And thats only if they weren't destroyed by the Police when they were confiscated. That has happened more than a few times.

Or, if they were collectible, disappear from the property room into some unknown persons collection. Reportedly happened a few times in Nassau County and the victims received token compensation from the taxpayers Confiscated weapons were never found.
