The extent of my precision shooting consists of 3x 100yd HTF MOA matches. I'll be shooting a .223 that should be capable of sub-MOA, but my current skills probably top out at 1MOA. I have a couple of rear bags and a decent bipod; beyond that I am nil for gear. Do I need any additional gear to shoot this match? If so, any recommendations? ETA, I've no idea what I'm doing, but I would like to explore PRS and precision rifle in general. I feel like I'm a bit (way) out of my league and hope I'm not wasting everyone else's time, but this seems like a great intro. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! |

I would download the Hornady 4 DOF app and use that to generate a dope card. Lots of folks will be happy to help! |

Know your zero as well as you can and don't get frustrated (I may have failed this part last time). |

Hello shooters, I had a chance of plans and we are back on schedule to have a match on our usual first Sunday of the month in April.

We now have a loaner rifle available for those who want to try the match but do not have a rifle to do so.
I will provide the ammo at cost ($30 a box), and everything you could possibly need to compete. (Bags, DOPE, tripods, Bipods etc). It is zeroed/I have dope for Federal GM65CRDBH2 Premium Gold Medal 6.5 Creedmoor 140 gr Berger Hybrid Target.  Attached File |
