Here are the practical long-gun events we have scheduled this month at Rio Salado (Mesa, AZ):

Multigun (2-Gun/3-Gun) Match: Saturday January 9th @ 7:15am
A multigun match offering both 2-Gun (rifle/pistol) and 3-Gun (rifle/shotgun/pistol) divisions. There will be five action shooting stages with targets anywhere from 1 yard to 500 yards. Those in the 2-Gun divisions should bring 150 rounds of rifle ammo and 150 rounds of pistol ammo. Those in the 3-Gun divisions should bring 150 rounds of rifle ammo, 50 shotgun birdshot (#6 or smaller) plus some slugs, and 50 rounds of pistol ammo. Registration and squadding opens on the preceding Monday at 6:30pm via PractiScore. After registering, the competitor will be able select from squads in one of two time slots: 7:15am-11am or 11am-2:45pm. New shooters should sign up for an 11am squad and come in time to attend the new shooter orientation at 10:15am before they shoot.

Red Mountain Action Rifle Match: Sunday January 17th @ 10am
This is a rifle-only match comprising four run-n-gun stages. All targets are at CQB distances, maximum 60 yards. There are several equipment divisions meaning almost any kind of semi-auto rifle and caliber setup (including rimfire) can find a home. Bring 150 rounds of ammo. Pre-registration and squadding opens at 7pm on the preceding Thursday via PractiScore.

Tactical Shotgun/Pistol Caliber Carbine Match: Thursday January 21st @ 3pm
An action shooting match that can be shot with either shotgun or PCC. You can register via PractiScore after the 1st of the month - pre-paying will save you $5 but we also accept walk-up entries for this match if there is space on a squad.
