Have you trained in other martial arts?

IMHO your going to want a foundation in other martial arts before you jump into KM

I never heard of the need for another MA before Krav

I did Shotokan for 5 years before Krav, but my class had mainly new students

The Friday night open sparring was great

I'm looking for something to do with a friend with minimal time commitment, like once every other week or once a month.  I did a little bit of BJJ and boxing.  BJJ is very useful, but seems complicated to me and I lose those skills quickly without practice.  Boxing is easier to retain.  I took a couple of Krav Maga classes and it seems easy to learn and retain and more useful in the real world.
