Sarasota Beach reopened today. Kinda. No parking but folk are allowed to stroll around on it.

Jacksonville beach is open, kinda. Same as above.

The government in this State is a joke, from the silly beach closings, to the defective unemployment system. Time to open everything up bozos.

DeSantis has been a pretty poor leader in my opinion. Seems like he’s waiting for his daddy Trump to tell him what to do. His task for is a joke, now they are taking public comment. Open the friggin’ businesses, if people don’t want to go out, open, whatever, then fine. This sham has gone on long enough.

Palm Beach Co. just reopened boating, golf, natural areas, parks (some things in parks closed like playgrounds), community pools and tennis.

Was actually kind of surprised they moved to start reopening now. Being such a dim stronghold, I figured they’d follow the typical playbook of holding onto as much control for as long as possible.

I happened to have a (friendly, in a store) talk with pinellas county sheriff's, who said that so long as people are maintaining distance,  they aren't stopping anyone from swimming at the beach.

Now, given the nature of my job, I'm not willing to risk a misdemeanor incident to see if they were being honest,  but it was interesting.  That said, word on the street is that the beach/pool reopening will happen this week.. fingers crossed on that.

Closing beaches was the dumbest thing ever, not that i think anything should have been closed...

As someone that has been on Jax Beach multiple times recently, I can tell you that it is crowded as hell,people are sunbathing, surfing, swimming, playing volleyball and every other normal beach activity is going on.

Escambia/Pensacola will open the beaches on May1. 30min before sunrise until 30min after sunset, only rule is that you cannot loiter under the fishing pier, the practice social distancing and no large groups are still in effect.

Some business will be open (hair, nails, etc.) The rest are up to the Gov. The County Commission (a larger group of dildos you won’t find) was getting a lot of pushback and people were starting to say “fuck it.” Businesses were threatening to open back up, not bars and such, because they are more heavily regulated.

Be nice for them to open parking.

Various state parks are open now. Myakka is open for day type stuff but not everything yet.

State parks were opening on the 16th. I had reservations and they took my money. Guess what. Now I get told "Sorry, we were just kidding, we are really opening on the 20th."

Oh yeah, Manatee county beaches and parking are open again.

Places that serve food and had a bar got slammed, you’d see 10% of the people actually eating. So, owners of strictly bars started snitching* and alcohol control would show up and tell them to knock it off, remove the seating from the bar**

*instead of you know, raising hell with the government.  

**because it is so efficient to serve one person at a table meant for four or more people.

A bar here announced they will open on the 21st. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

I have a friend who is a civil attorney, he is jonesing at the lawsuits. He thinks this is all illegal, he’s not some half ass bs lawyer either, he works for a major firm.

What are they going to do shoot those people that refuse to get the shot for COVID. Lock them up in jail. Issue a ID showing you got the COVID shot in order to do business or buy anything or leave your house.

It is sad that everything you outline there really is the truth. I pray, especially for my daughters future, that we can walk this crap back, and regain some sanity in this mess. One state can't remember which. Has said bars can have 10 customers inside and 50 customers outside. A BAR NOW.  But churches no matter how big. Are limited to 10 inside and or 10 outside.

All to maybe create a pandemic where one does not exist. To give a certain party a way to illegally seize power from the people. Now that's just an opinion based upon what I've read.

But one thing that is not an opinion. WE THE PEOPLE are allowing the illegal seizure and violation of our Constitutional Rights. We can stop it if we just say NO enough is enough.

It would not surprise me if the CDC created this to gain self worth and an influx of cash into the CDC. The CDC has become political on behalf of the DEMOCRATIC SOCIALIST EXTREMISTS PARTY.
