Took my wife and I 10 minutes to renew at that office.

Friendly and very efficient service; I even wrote to Adam Putnam to tell him so.

Last year, they removed the "notarization" requirement from the renewal application.  I took my own picture and renewed without ever leaving the house.  IIRC I had a 10 day, door to door turn around time.

Some old lady I know took her stuff to the Collier County office. Her paperwork was all fudged up and it was returned.

My old lady took her to North Port Regional and they checked paperwork et al. Short visit and license in 2 weeks.

Regional offices are the only way to go and worth a drive to get there. Very considerate folks.
