[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Question on Deer Alternative season.

Going to coyote hunt tomorrow and also going to set my deer blind back up. I'm aware we can use "pistols" so will be using and AR pistol with 16" upper and a 4x14 scope with an Omega can.

My question is, I didn't shoot a buck at all this year (or a doe), so can I shoot a buck during alternative season?

Wait, serous you can use a AR pistol during pistol season? How in the hell did I not put this together sooner? When does pistol season end?

I can't find the old thread, but I've posted about this before;

I built my pistol as a 7.5", but had lots of trouble with it, so in 2016 I put my Bushmaster upper on it for Alternative Season.

Now I've redone the upper as a 10.5", so I'll be hunting with it this year.
