Chris Jacobs of NY and Brian Fitzpatrick of PA are
rightfully getting roasted for voting Yay on HR 1808.

But I've heard nothing about Rep. Anthony Gonzalez
taking blame for not voting Nay against this crap bill.

You Ohioans familiar with the 16th congressional district -
Why didn't Gonzalez vote up or down on HR 1808?

Was he:

Not in Washington, D.C. on the day of the vote?

Has supported recent gun control and was too
cowardly to vote either way?

Isn't seeking reelection and just no longer cares?

I guess it really doesn't matter now... I'm simply curious.

He isn't running for reelection.

He is also a RINO that voted to impeach Trump, so there's that.

This is pretty accurate.  I'm ashamed we went to the same school.

I see AG as an opportunist.

He had no desire for a career in politics, but he saw it as a start in a political/pundit career.

He will be a talking head on a cable news station either as the "die hard Republican" on CNN/MSNBC/etc, or the "centrist" right leaning liberal on FOX news. Having played football and been concussed 50x only makes his talking points more accurate.

He was never a Republican. He was a guy who caught passes at THE OSU, and does not look like a moron (before he opens his mouth). That gets you elected in almost any state where the seat is open.
