Anyone familiar with what the process is in WY to get this ball rolling?

Do you just cold call the state legislature and as to speak to the manager? lol

In all seriousness, this is probably one of the most important stances that conservative states can take right now, so it seems to me that any truly conservative state, in the wake of this blatantly fraudulent national election, should be prioritizing legislation like this for the benefit and safety of its residents and citizens.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Wyoming Senate Committee Passes Bill to Take on Federal Gun Control: Past, Present and Future

“CHEYENNE, Wyo. (March 19, 2021) – On Wednesday, a Wyoming Senate committee unanimously passed a bill that would take on federal gun control; past, present and future. Passage into law would represent a major step toward ending federal acts that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms within the state.

A coalition of 19 Republicans and a Libertarian introduced Senate Bill 81 (SF81) on Feb. 3. Titled the “Second Amendment Preservation Act,” the legislation would ban any person, including any public officer or employee of the state and its political subdivisions, from enforcing any past, present or future federal “acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, court orders, rules, and regulations that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms.

On March 17, the Senate Judiciary Committee passed SF81 by a 5-0 vote.

SF81 is similar to a bill moving forward in Missouri.”

This movement will last until it has the prospect of becoming effective.
Then, State Governors will get a call from Washington explaining that they are going to lose Federal funding, under whatever pretext.
The State Governments will fall in line, and State and local police agencies, heroes all, will act as their muscle, because dental plans.
Much kerfuffle will ensue in the courts. It will be meaningless.

You seem to be under the impression that the rule of law is still a thing.
This is not the way forward.

Not at all. I know it’s over. Was just trying to maintain some optimism.
