For those looking to put some more bulk food away during the current pandemic, check out:

Discount Freight and Grocery
5101 N Town Centre Dr.
Ozark, MO 65721

They are on the West side of Hwy 65 (south of Springfield).

As everyone is well aware of, most grocery stores are limiting purchase quantities.
This place still allows purchasing food by the case or more.

I've been in there twice over the past year. Prices are very good. Head to the back of the store for case size purchases.

Last trip was towards the end of February, maybe a week or 2 before the mad rush on everything. I grabbed 3 flats of Chicken Noodle Soup, a flat of Cream of Mushroom, flat of Cream of Potato Soup, and a flat of Pea Soup. Figure I can mix the soups with my dry beans that I packed into Mylar with O2 absorbers, 10 years ago.

If you go for a visit, bring a cooler. They have frozen Hormel Pork Loin for $2 to $3 each - no limit. Walmart sells those for $8 to $10 each.
We bought a bunch and threw them in our chest freezer. They are a bit salty but good cooked on the grill for 20 minutes. Flipped every 5 minutes.

They also have non-labelled peanut butter which we have determined to be Skippy Chunky.

Between Jeff City and Sedalia are tons of Mennonite and Amish bulk food stores that sell to the public.

Those can be good sources for bulk (50lbs) dry beans, rice, and hard winter wheat.
Expensive places though.

There's 2 I visit from time to time.

I keep bulk rice in rotation. I bought my bulk dry beans (50lb bags) from Jean's Healthway in Ava, MO.

They are closed for the current pandemic but have some sort of curbside service. The place is full of ultra left wing hippies but the owner understands preparedness.

Her Daughter owns a really spendy health food store in Springfield.

I haven't found that to be the case for the majority of them. They have many more goods than what you have posted as well. You gotta seek out the stores off the beaten path, of course the one's right on a major highway are going to be more expensive.

I worked with a gal who bought gluten-free gummy bears from there - drive across town for them.  She didn't make the connection there is no wheat in gummy bears....

Sucker born every minute I guess. I'm torn about a store selling that kind of product, but if the customer requests it then money shall change hands.

Guess I should start slapping gluten free labels on non-food products and sell them for a premium as well. Works for those damn CA Prop 65 labels.

Don't forget the non-GMO labels.

How about some examples:

What Amish / Mennonite shops have you been to and where are they located?
What items did you buy from them?
