Saw a pre-AWB lower in Texas tonight, one of the off brand makers, maybe PWS?  With that funky non-A1/A2 pistol grip w/ the vertical lines.  Beautiful 20" A1 upper on it, don't know if Colt, a 3 hole buffer tube w/ a plastic early carbine stock.  Under $1100 on consignment @ Trinity Ordnance, Lake Worth, Texas.

I'm a friend of the owner of Trinity Ordnance - I've done work for him in the past, and he gave me a t-shirt this evening.  I don't know the seller from Adam, though I spoke w/ him this evening about his rifle, and found out he's a former Navy Reserve SeaBee.

If it is pre-9/13/1994, it is legal for a MA person to buy it and have it shipped to a MA FFL for final transfer.

However, one MUST ask the MA FFL if they are willing to do so before buying it, as some are so scared of their shadow that they will refuse to do legal transactions.
