My sister lives in MD and her and her husband want some guns (shocker).  I know MD has some whack gun laws, so please educate me.

1) Does MD allow 80% lower without SN like P80?

2) Can they bring in high cap mags from say PA?  I believe you have a 10rd mag restriction?

3) My BIL is trying to get his carry permit...how difficult is this to obtain?

1). Yes.
2). Yes. Cannot be change possession within the state, but use and possession are legal. 10 round magazine limit on sales and purchases within the state.
3). Unless he owns a business or is in the military or law enforcement, the likelihood of acquiring a carry permit is low. Must show a "good and substantial" reason. Intentionally obscure in their wording of the law.

Maryland is very anti-gun due to liberal stupidity!
