I wish they'd do their stupid protest on a Sunday so I could stand in front of them trying to sell some guns FTF just to really piss them off.

It's not illegal to fart on protesters. Nobody ever mentions this.

I haven't been to a gunshow in a long time and this might be worth going to now that I've retired from the military and don't have to have that hanging over my head...although I'm never one to speak my mind when antagonized.
ETA: Just found out there is a UNI Panther football game that day and we would be going up to see our daughter there as well as the game.

There's been people protesting at the fairgrounds show before. I saw them last year. A group of 3 people was all I think...that was it. Not saying that nobody will show up this time but it was comical to see them with their signs. Nobody cared or even really paid attention to them when I was there. I think @inspector2211 might have some pictures of them from last year?
