I’d like to get some training and would like to know if anyone has any experience or feedback with any places in the Lincoln/Omaha area? I’m near Beatrice and would like to take carbine and pistol classes, intro to start with options to advance. I’ve checked out a few places online (links below) but have no experience. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

@Regularassjoe

I've taken a couple of pistol classes at https://www.nebraskashooters.com/ They are located between Lincoln and Beatrice
They did a good job of teaching fundamentals and safe firearms handling. I had developed some bad habits and they helped
me to work on those. Norm Hood is one of their regular visiting instructors, he puts on good classes.

I've heard good things about https://88tactical.com/ but don't have any personal experience.

I am un familiar with http://midwestfirearmstraining.com/

Hope that helps.

@ghost_dog_ne, thanks so much for the great feedback, it’s appreciated. Nebraska shooters is closest to me and I like their course offerings. Looks like a good place to get started and progress some. Thanks again ghost dog

Earlier this month a couple buddies and I took this course at Tactical 88.

I went mostly to decide on if I will take more advanced courses in the future.  It was a good course; the instructor was professional but kept the material from being dry.  I didn't expect more than the basics and its exactly what I got plus a few good tips.  The price isn't bad and the facility is nice.  I'm currently planning on taking another few courses, though I haven't decided 'when' yet.

I am not affiliated with Tactical88 other than having taken a single one of their courses so far.  I'm just a schmuck who hasn't done any training beyond the occasional range trip in a long time and knows he should take some classes to rebuild proficiency.

I've done all 3 levels of carbine training at 88 Tactical (some twice just to stay fresh). They are day long courses up in Tekamah. Not a full gear, run and gun type course, more focus on weapon handling, malfunction drills, movement and cover/concealment drills and they bring in handgun transitions and room clearing in level III. $150 and 300 or so rounds are not to bad for some great training.

Have not done any, but they offer a full plate of handgun and carbine practical 1-2hr classes at the Omaha indoor center most evenings. Love to do the defensive handgun classes, but with the work schedule and 75 mile one way drive it is a challenge to schedule any of those weekday evening classes.
